This report highlights strategies to support upskilling for the immigrant workforce employed in lower- and middle-skilled jobs. It focuses on approaches adopted by organizations in Dallas, Miami, and Seattle to support immigrant training and career advancement. Recommendations for state and local policymakers, community organizations, workforce development organizations, funders, and employers detail how to support immigrant residents’ access to training and education, and how to develop proactive policies that support these workers’ essential roles in our economy.
